Biggest astrological shift until 2028 is here: Which zodiacs will be hit hardest?

The Karmic (Lunar) Nodes will shift into the Aquarius–Leo axis on July 27. This cycle will last until the end of March 2028, bringing major changes for all zodiac signs, while becoming a true test for two of them, according to astrologer Kateryna Soloviova.
According to her, from July 27, 2026, the main themes of this astrological period will include friendship, self-realization, creativity, children, romantic relationships, innovation, digital technologies, aviation, space exploration, social projects, public speaking, and the entertainment industry.
What the shift of the Karmic Nodes means
Solovyova explained that the Karmic, or Lunar, Nodes are two calculated points formed where the Moon's orbit intersects the ecliptic.
The North Node (Rahu), also known as the "Dragon's Head," symbolizes a person's direction of growth and life purpose. The South Node (Ketu), or the "Dragon's Tail," represents experience already gained.
"In general, the axis of the Lunar Nodes represents the vector of our development. The North Node in a birth chart points to our life's purpose and the lessons we need to learn. The South Node reflects the experience we have already accumulated," the astrologer said.
She added that solar and lunar eclipses occur along the Lunar Nodes axis, which is why events during this period often have a fated or life-changing quality.
Who is entering the most challenging phase?
According to Solovyova, Pisces and Virgo have been working through their karmic lessons since January 2025.
Now, she says, the greatest challenges are shifting to Leo and Aquarius.
However, every zodiac sign will experience changes. To understand which areas of life will be most affected, an individual birth chart must be analyzed.
For those who do not study astrology in detail, Solovyova recommends reflecting on events that took place between December 2007 and August 2009.
"If you haven't radically changed where you live since then, similar life themes may return," she explained.
What to let go of before spring 2028
According to Solovyova, this new cycle is a good time to reassess personal priorities.
She recommends:
- letting go of selfishness, egocentrism, vanity, and pride
- avoiding the need to always be the main authority
- developing greater inner freedom and independence
- building stronger friendships and partnerships
- embracing change instead of fearing it
- leaving behind what no longer serves you
- avoiding emotional or financial dependence on children
- focusing on the future while remaining objective
A special period will last until October
Solovyova also highlighted another important date.
She said that from 3:47 a.m. on July 27 until 6:44 p.m. on October 9 (Kyiv time), the North Node will remain in the so-called Royal Degree of Aquarius.
"Astrological bodies that enter the powerful positive energy of the Royal Degrees can significantly influence people. This influence allows individuals to make the most of the opportunities presented to them," she explained.
This degree is associated with willpower, resilience, success, support from like-minded people, creativity, intuition, and favorable opportunities to bring important ideas to life.
The motto of the new cycle
According to Solovyova, the motto of the North Node in Aquarius is:
"I know."
In her view, between July 27, 2026, and the end of March 2028, many people may experience stronger intuition, an increased ability to anticipate future events, and a greater talent for finding unconventional solutions.
"A new understanding of how to bring certain ideas to life may finally take shape. Original and unconventional thinking will play a key role in that process," the astrologer concluded.
