Jessica Alba divorces her husband after 16 years of marriage
Hollywood actress Jessica Alba is divorcing her husband, producer Cash Warren, with whom she has been married for almost 20 years.
"I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years-both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals," Alba wrote.
She also added that after the breakup, she remained in a warm relationship with her ex.
"We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time," the star said.

In late December, rumors of the couple's divorce first surfaced. Subscribers noticed that the actress did not have a wedding ring on her finger.
Alba was also suspected of cheating on her husband with producer Andrea Iervolino: their photos from a restaurant were discussed online.
Now Iervolino and the artist are working on the movie Maserati: The Brothers and spend a lot of time together.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren met in 2004 on the set of the movie Fantastic Four, where Cash was an assistant director and Jessica played the role of Susan Storm.
In 2007, they got engaged and married a year later in Beverly Hills. The couple has three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 12, and Hayes, seven.
