Israeli military eliminates Hezbollah commander responsible for missile attacks on Israel

In particular, an Israeli Air Force fighter jet in cooperation with the Northern Command killed Faour in the Jwaya area in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, another drone commander was killed along with him.
Faour was reportedly responsible for launching missiles and drones into northern Israel from eastern Lebanon. His unit was the first to open fire on the country on October 8, 2023, giving the order to start a conflict along the northern border of the Israeli state.
According to the military, he is also responsible for the missile attack on the Golan Heights, which killed Israeli civilians. In addition, he is responsible for the attack on Majdal Shams, which killed 12 children, and the recent shelling of Metulla on Thursday, which killed 5 civilians.
