The Israeli military struck infrastructure sites in Lebanon used by Hezbollah militants for the production of strategic weapons. Israeli forces also eliminated terrorists who were preparing an attack in the Gaza Strip, according to the Telegram channel of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The military targeted infrastructure in Lebanon’s Bekaa region, which Hezbollah militants used for the production and storage of strategic weapons.

Additionally, on Thursday, March 13, the Israeli army identified several terrorists operating near Israeli forces in central Gaza. They were attempting to plant explosive devices in the ground.

"An IAF aircraft struck the terrorists," the statement said.

Ceasefire between Israel and the Hezbollah group

Last year, the Israeli army eliminated nearly all leaders of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. At the end of September, Israeli forces launched a ground military operation against militants in southern Lebanon.

On November 27, a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah officially took effect. Under the previously agreed terms, Israeli forces would withdraw from Lebanon within 60 days, while the country’s regular army would take control of the southern region to prevent militants from returning.

However, the ceasefire has been repeatedly violated due to Hezbollah’s actions and the IDF’s precautionary measures.

In February, Israel announced the withdrawal of its troops from southern Lebanon but stated it would maintain a presence at five strategic positions.
