Israel attacked Lebanon, killing senior Hezbollah commander
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck the village of Al Sultanya in southern Lebanon. During the attack, a field commander of the elite Lebanese unit Al Radwan of the Hezbollah group and two other commanders were killed, according to The Times of Israel.
The Hezbollah group reported that late on Sunday, April 7, a member of the group from Kafr Kila, a town on the border with Israel, had been killed while carrying out his jihadist duty.
This statement came after the Israel Defense Forces reported strikes on Hezbollah positions in Kafr Kila, as well as on a missile launcher in Yaroun, and published a video of the attacks.

Attacks by Hezbollah
Hezbollah (Party of God taken from the Quran) is a Lebanese Shiite organization and political party that advocates for the creation of an Islamic state in Lebanon. The organization was formed during the Lebanese Civil War in 1982 by a group of radical Shiite clerics with financial support from Iran. Its goal was to militarily respond to Israel's occupation of parts of Lebanon.
With the start of the ground operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah fighters began firing rockets at Israeli territory and American military targets in neighbouring countries.
In particular, on April 7, the Israeli Air Force struck targets in the Beqaa Valley in eastern Lebanon. The target of the airstrike may have been a Hezbollah training camp near the border with Syria.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that his country is prepared to start a war with the Lebanese group.
On January 8, a senior commander of Hezbollah's elite forces, Radvan, was killed in southern Lebanon as a result of an Israeli strike.
