Germany's assistance to Ukraine
Germany is a leading provider of military aid to Ukraine, delivering air defense systems, tanks, armored vehicles, ammunition of various calibers, and other military equipment. Training for Ukrainian soldiers is also conducted in Germany.
Previously, Germany announced the delivery of an additional Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, providing a quarter of its stock of these systems. However, Berlin has declined to supply Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles.
The last time Germany provided military aid to Ukraine was in early June this year, with the package including IRIS-T air defense systems, HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, and Leopard 1 tanks.
