"We are focused on continuing to dismantle Hamas, and on creating conditions for the return of additional hostages," said Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Halevi in comments provided by the IDF.
In recent days, the IDF has confirmed the deaths of several hostages held by Hamas, thanks to new intelligence and data obtained by the military.
