New details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding the death of 27-year-old Presley Gerber. The son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber died on September 20 at a rehabilitation center in the Los Angeles area, according to TMZ.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the death occurred at 9:45 a.m. on September 20. The investigation into the circumstances is ongoing, and the case is being handled by the Santa Monica Police Department.
“The investigation is still ongoing, and there is limited information available,” the medical examiner’s office said.
Meanwhile, sources familiar with the situation said that Gerber’s family was informed of a suspected overdose. He was living in a separate house on the rehab facility’s grounds with several other people.
However, the official cause of death has not yet been determined by the medical examiner. Following the autopsy, toxicology testing will be conducted to determine what substance was in Presley’s system at the time of his death.
