'Hope you burn, Putin': Georgian designer makes bold statement at London Fashion Week

Georgian designer Giorgi Keburia drew attention with a political statement during his KEBURIA brand show at London Fashion Week. The very first look from the Spring/Summer 2027 collection carried a direct message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Hypebae.
What appeared on the runway
The KEBURIA show took place on September 17 and was one of the first shows of the new London Fashion Week season.
According to the official schedule, the brand presented its collection at noon on the first day of fashion week.
The designer chose a particularly striking look to open the show.
A male model walked onto the runway with a guitar strapped to his back.
Written in red paint on its back was the message: Hope you burn Putin.
This season, KEBURIA also ventured into menswear for the first time.
Following the opening look, the collection continued with the brand’s signature experiments with proportions: sharp shoulders, architectural collars, oversized pockets and ultra-short shorts.
The collection combined elements of British countryside aesthetics, equestrian style and the Western.
The designer used distressed canvas, metallic tweed, jacquard fabrics and plenty of fringe.
