Hamas will never govern Gaza - Trump's National Security Advisor

Mike Waltz, the future National Security Advisor to US President-elect Donald Trump, said that the Hamas group will never govern Gaza. In addition, the United States will support Israel if the enclave rejects the agreement, The Times of Israel reports.
"Hamas will never govern Gaza. That is completely unacceptable" Waltz told CBS.
He also added that if Hamas rejects the Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal, the United States will support Israel "in what it has to do."
The agreement between Israel and Hamas
This morning, Israel announced a ceasefire in Gaza. The ceasefire was reached after Hamas handed over a list of the first hostages to be released on January 19.
At the same time, three ministers of the Israeli government resigned in protest against the signed and implemented agreement.
