Aid from Germany
Germany is one of Ukraine's key partners. Berlin systematically provides Ukraine with military assistance packages.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces received Leopard tanks of various modifications, IRIS-T and Patriot air defense systems, anti-aircraft guns, artillery systems, armored vehicles, ammunition, drones, and many other weapons from Germany. Recently, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that Ukraine would receive the sixth IRIS-T system by the end of the year.
Germany also trains the Ukrainian military. The training mission will last until 2022.
At the same time, Scholz is categorically against the transfer of long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
