Germany's Scholz seeks India's mediation in political resolution of Ukraine war
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has advocated for a political resolution to Russia's war against Ukraine, supporting India’s mediation in the matter, reports Deutsche Welle.
"Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine affects both Germany and India in many respects. No one can turn a blind eye to this conflict. Therefore, I strongly support India advocating for a lasting and just peace," Scholz said.

"This war, which has raged for so long and claimed so many lives, must finally end. Ukraine’s integrity and sovereignty must be preserved. That’s what we stand for," Scholz emphasized.
