Participation of Georgian voluntary soldiers in the war in Ukraine

This is not the first time RBC-Ukraine has written about the deaths of Georgian volunteers participating in the war against Russia. In November, it was reported that a 24-year-old Georgian volunteer Levan Lokhishvili was killed in the war in Ukraine. He had been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

In addition, in July, a Georgian volunteer, Zurab Iashvili, was killed in the battles for Ukraine. He died in a Lviv military hospital after being wounded.

The Georgian Legion was even created in Ukraine to take part in the fight against the Russian troops.
