Georgian soldier who fought for Ukraine killed in Kursk region
Georgian voluntary soldier Badri Kvaratskhelia was killed in the Kursk region. He was fighting for Ukraine, Interpress News informs.
This information was confirmed by the Georgian Foreign Ministry. According to reports, the commander of the Free Georgia, Badri Kvaratskhelia, was killed in a contact battle in the Kursk region.
Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine began in February 2022. Since then and beyond, volunteers from different countries, including Georgia, have been fighting on the side of Ukraine.

This is not the first time RBC-Ukraine has written about the deaths of Georgian volunteers participating in the war against Russia. In November, it was reported that a 24-year-old Georgian volunteer Levan Lokhishvili was killed in the war in Ukraine. He had been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
In addition, in July, a Georgian volunteer, Zurab Iashvili, was killed in the battles for Ukraine. He died in a Lviv military hospital after being wounded.
The Georgian Legion was even created in Ukraine to take part in the fight against the Russian troops.
