Scientists have proven that pet owners live longer. Research shows that people who get furry or feathered friends can extend their lives by 5–10 years thanks to the positive impact of animals on health and emotional well-being.

Pets help reduce stress, lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases, improve physical activity, and enhance social interaction. Constant contact with animals increases oxytocin levels - the "happiness hormone" - and helps fight depression.

Regular walks with a dog strengthen the cardiovascular system, reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Dog owners are 36% less likely to suffer from hypertension. Interaction with a dog lowers cortisol levels - the stress hormone.
