The Guinness World Records has been documenting all kinds of achievements for more than half a century — from incredible human abilities to records of nature. Among the record holders are many celebrities who have stood out not only in their fields but also set global milestones.
RBC-Ukraine has compiled a list of stars who made it into the Guinness World Records.
Cristiano Ronaldo
The Portuguese footballer has long become not just a sports icon, but a global media superstar.
In 2021, he set a Guinness World Record for the most followers on Instagram — his audience exceeded 425 million at the time.
Since then, Ronaldo’s popularity has only grown. As of 2026, more than 668 million users follow his page, and he remains the only person in the world with such a massive audience on the platform.

Kobe Bryant
The late Kobe Bryant also left his mark in the Guinness World Records. The basketball player went down in history as the youngest NBA player to appear in a game for the Los Angeles Lakers — he was 18 years and 158 days old.
This record once again proved how early Bryant made his presence known in professional sports. He later became one of the most iconic players in basketball history.

Jackie Chan
Legendary actor Jackie Chan is known not only for his action roles but also for performing a huge number of dangerous stunts himself throughout his career.
This is what earned him a place among record holders.
He was recognized for the most stunts performed by a living actor. Considering that Chan has appeared in over a hundred films and often refused stunt doubles, this record became a natural part of his unique career story.

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence is also among the celebrities whose achievements were recorded by Guinness.
The actress became one of the most successful action movie stars in terms of box office revenue.
This success was largely driven by The Hunger Games and the X-Men film series.
These projects grossed billions worldwide and cemented Lawrence’s status as one of the highest-grossing actresses of her generation.

Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson, known to millions as The Rock, has also been featured among record holders multiple times. However, not all of his records still stand today.
At different times, he set records for the most selfies taken in three minutes and for contributing to the creation of the largest seven-layer dip.
Although both records were later broken, Johnson’s name remains part of these unusual achievements.

Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has entered the Guinness World Records several times, but one of his most famous records came with an unexpected twist.
His music video for Baby once became the most disliked video on the internet.
Although this dubious title was later taken by another video, the fact remains part of digital pop culture history.
This is a case where even negative audience reaction became a record.
Eminem
American rapper Eminem made it into the Guinness World Records thanks to his rap technique.
His hit Rap God is considered one of the most striking examples of extreme speed in rap.
The song contains 1,560 words, and its delivery speed turned it into a true phenomenon.
Thanks to this combination of technique, pace, and lyrical complexity, Eminem secured his place as one of the most technically skilled rappers in the world.

Beyoncé
Beyoncé holds multiple achievements related to the music industry. In particular, she has been recognized for a record number of Grammy Awards.
For years, she maintained her status as one of the most awarded artists in the world.
Her career is a prime example of how consistent success, cultural influence, and industry recognition can translate into officially recorded global achievements.

Betty White
The late Betty White entered the Guinness World Records as the actress with the longest television career. Her journey in the industry spanned more than 70 years.
This achievement is especially symbolic, as she remained beloved by audiences across multiple generations.

Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg also set a rather unconventional record. The rapper took part in creating the world’s largest Paradise cocktail.
Its preparation required massive amounts of alcohol and juice, turning the process into a full-scale spectacle.
