Four-direction drone strike: Ukraine shares details of Russia’s overnight attack

Russian troops launched 84 drones of various types at Ukraine overnight on September 9. Air defense shot down 60 enemy UAVs, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"On the night of September 9, the enemy launched 84 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia). More than 50 of them were Shahed UAVs," the Air Force noted.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled the air attack.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 60 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types over the north, south, and east of the country. At the same time, 23 drones struck 10 different locations.

Overnight, on September 9, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. As a result of the enemy strike, a private house caught fire. A 66-year-old woman was injured.
In addition, the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, published photos showing firefighters continuing to extinguish the blaze after the enemy attack on the regional center.
