Ukrainian Air Force has alluded to the destruction of Russian aircraft, possibly referring to the A-50 and IL-22 shot down on January 14. This can be seen as retaliation for the shelling of Dnipro that occurred on the same date in 2023, according to the Air Force commander, Mykola Oleshchuk.

Dnipro shelling on January 14, 2023

On January 14, 2023, Russian forces launched one of their massive attack on Ukraine. As a result, one of the missiles targeted a residential nine-story building in Dnipro.
