The fight statistics between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois and the judges' scorecards at the moment of the knockout have become known. There are moments in which the British boxer outperformed the Ukrainian, according to Compubox.
Dubois threw more punches
Overall, the Brit landed more punches — 179 compared to 153 by Usyk. However, the Ukrainian showed much better accuracy: 57 versus 35.
Dubois led Usyk in the number of punches in the first three rounds, but only in the third round did he lead in accurate punches. In contrast, in the decisive fifth round, the Ukrainian boxer landed 12 accurate punches, while the Brit only landed two.
