As for nail polish, the new season brings a variety of trends, so everyone can find something to their taste.
Bare nails
Nude polish is an enduring classic, but now fashion is going even further and encouraging people to skip gel polish altogether in favor of natural, bare nails. This type of manicure is considered a sign of quiet luxury, as a healthy nail plate and moisturized hands and cuticles are seen as signs of health and good grooming.
So you can either remove your gel polish completely or choose a sheer, neutral-colored coating — either way, your hands will look neat and well-groomed.
Burgundy
Every fall, nail artists stock up on autumn shades, and burgundy is the undisputed leader of the palette. Fall 2026 is no exception — burgundy remains a top trend for the season and pairs beautifully with autumn outfits, sweaters, and coats.
This year, it is becoming even darker and richer, closer to the color of ripe black cherries. This shade looks especially striking with a glossy finish and on short or medium-length nails.
Chrome nails
A more interesting and unexpected trend for fall 2026. This season, metallic shades are moving beyond festive manicures and becoming part of everyday looks.
The shade can be more delicate and pearly or a rich chrome champagne.
If you don’t want an overly bold effect, you can opt for a metallic French manicure with chrome tips or a pearlescent effect over a nude base.
