Explosions heard in Odesa as Russian drones attack city

Russian forces once again launched a drone attack on Odesa overnight on October 9, with explosions reported in the city, according to Suspilne Odesa and the Ukrainian Air Force.
"An explosion was heard in Odesa," the message said at 01:12 AM Kyiv time.
At the same time, several local channels reported active air defense operations in the city, noting that it was "very loud in Odesa."
Earlier, the military had warned that a group of enemy drones had been detected flying from the Black Sea toward the Odesa region.

As of 01:51 AM Kyiv time, the air raid alert map showed ongoing alerts in the Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
