Corruption in the energy sector
In November last year, NABU reported exposing a large-scale corruption scheme at Energoatom.
Top state officials were involved in the case, including the now former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko.
Later, Halushchenko, who had previously been suspended from performing the duties of Minister of Justice, was dismissed from his post with 323 votes. Along with him, lawmakers also dismissed the then Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk.
