Evacuation for residents was introduced in the Bolshesoldatsky district of the Kursk region.

According to the local authorities, "until today there was no evacuation in the area." However, from today it has been officially announced.

"Today we are collecting data on who still needs to be evacuated," said the district head, urging residents to submit applications.

This district borders on Sudzha district, where the fighting is currently ongoing.

Kursk breakthrough

A week ago, the Russians announced a border breakthrough from Ukraine in the Kursk region, which borders Sumy. Initially, they claimed that the Russian subversive group was advancing deep into the settlements.

Yesterday, the head of Belaya district of the Kursk region called on the local population to evacuate. The local authorities actually entrusted this process to the civilians themselves.

Against this backdrop, a few days earlier, the regime of counterterrorist operation was introduced in three regions of Russia. These are Bryansk, Kursk and Belgorod regions.
