The European Commission will allocate 335 million euros in assistance for Ukraine's infrastructure reconstruction, according to Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"Our partners are actively assisting us in the recovery sector. Today, we are approving the financing agreement for the EU Support for Recovery and Reform program. After its signing, the European Commission will allocate 335 million euros in assistance," said Shmyhal.

According to him, the funds will be allocated for:

  1. Infrastructure reconstruction, including energy.
  2. Business support.
  3. Anti-corruption measures.
  4. Environmental protection.
  5. Digitalization.

"We thank our European allies for always being by our side," emphasized the Prime Minister.

Ukraine's reconstruction

The minimum needs for Ukraine's reconstruction are estimated at 411 billion dollars. This figure covers the period from February 24, 2022, to February 24, 2023, and only includes territories under Ukraine's control.
