Energy hits and a ruined train station in Fastiv: All the fallout from the latest strike on Ukraine

Kyiv region

Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bucha districts came under a massive strike. In Fastiv, a railway hub station, the train station and a suburban depot servicing electric trains, as well as rolling stock, were damaged.

Because of this, suburban train service is complicated: Ukrzaliznytsia changed routes and organized alternative bus transportation for passengers. Movement through the stations Motovylivka, Kozhanka, and Fastiv-2 is limited, and a shuttle service Kyiv–Motovylivka is ensuring connections for the population.

In the Vyshhorod district, seven private houses and a low-pressure gas pipeline were damaged, three trucks were destroyed, and a warehouse fire was localized.

In the Bucha district, one house and outbuildings were damaged, and in the Bila Tserkva district, warehouse premises were burning. As a result of the attacks on the region, three people were injured; one woman was hospitalized, her condition is stable, of moderate severity.

In the village of Novi Petrivtsi, drone debris caused a fire in a warehouse building covering 5,500 sq. m. Three trucks also caught fire, one residential house was destroyed, and six more houses were damaged.

In addition, energy infrastructure in the Kyiv region sustained damage; repair crews are already working on restoration.

Chernihiv region

In the Koriukivka district, strikes on the residential sector and civilian facilities were recorded. In Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district, critical infrastructure was affected, including electricity and heat generation facilities.

Zaporizhzhia region

Russian forces carried out targeted strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district. Repair crews are already addressing the consequences for energy facilities.

Volyn

Lutsk came under attack by Russian drones, resulting in warehouse premises with food products catching fire in one of the city’s neighborhoods. Property, interior finishes, and goods covering approximately 3,800 sq. m were destroyed. Firefighting efforts are currently ongoing.

Dnipropetrovsk region

The enemy attacked the region throughout the night. In Nikopol, an 11-year-old boy was injured. Residential buildings, outbuildings, and power lines were damaged.

Kherson region

Several city districts were partially left without power due to the attacks. Water supply disruptions are possible in the region.

Odesa region

Russian drones damaged energy facilities. Thousands of customers remain without electricity and heating. Port infrastructure is without power, operating partly on generators; administrative buildings and elements of port facilities were damaged.

The Russians attacked Ukraine using 61 missiles and 653 drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 615 enemy targets.
