Eggs for breakfast and how often to eat them: Expert's recommendation
Chicken eggs are beneficial as they are rich in proteins, vitamins, and Omega-3. It's important to know how many eggs you can eat per day and how to prepare them to maximize their benefits, according to coach Yurii Popko.
How often can you eat eggs?
According to the expert, eggs can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, and even as a snack.
"Whenever you want and as much as you want," the trainer added.
If you are specifically concerned about bad cholesterol, eggs do not have a significant impact on this.
This is because bad cholesterol depends only 25% on diet and 75% on the state of the body.
If you are watching your weight, remember that eggs are considered a high-calorie product (157 kcal per 100 g).
Best way to prepare eggs
It is believed that boiled eggs are the healthiest. Fried eggs are more caloric because they are cooked in animal fat or oil.
For example, boiled eggs have 160 kcal per 100 g, while fried eggs have 200 kcal. Additionally, they are less healthy because most vitamins and minerals are lost during frying, and they become merely a source of cholesterol.
Benefits of eggs
Chicken eggs are highly nutritious and help satisfy hunger for a long time. Thanks to their high concentration of proteins and fats, eggs supply the body with essential nutrients.
Eggs contain vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin B5, B12, B2, phosphorus, selenium, and zinc. Egg whites are high in calories and fat-free, which benefits the circulatory system.
Moreover, egg yolks contain a necessary amount of choline, a substance that prevents fat accumulation in the liver.
