Andrzej Duda has convened a meeting of the National Security Council on March 11, ahead of his scheduled visit to the White House, according to onet.pl.

Before the 25th anniversary of Poland's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance and his visit to the White House, Duda will discuss with representatives of all political forces key issues related to the country's security.

"Poland is sending a clear signal that it speaks with one voice in security matters," the chancellor's office said.

The President of Poland also mentioned the convening of the NSC during a press conference in Kożenevo, where he is observing the interaction of NATO forces within the Steadfast Defender-24 exercises.

"I want our trip to the USA to be preceded a bit more by the National Security Council. I will convene it for next Monday, March 11. I would like us to meet with the full composition of the Polish political scene," he said.

According to Duda, the agenda includes discussing the situation in the North Atlantic Alliance and plans for NATO expansion in the context of Ukraine's future membership.

"We will talk about the security situation, allied cooperation, and also the arms purchases we are making in Poland," added the president.

Poland strengthens military potential

It was reported today that certain units of the Polish army and NATO countries are practicing crossing the Vistula River. Over 3,500 servicemen and a thousand pieces of equipment are involved in these maneuvers.

Earlier, Andrzej Duda said that he does not believe that Russia will attack any NATO country.

Also, Duda hopes for a meeting of the Lublin Triangle in the near future. He stated that Eastern Europe must fight for freedom against Russian aggressors.
