On the night of January 10, 2025, unidentified drones attacked at least 5 regions of Russia. Fires broke out in some of these areas, according to Russian Telegram channels.

It became known first about explosions in the Rostov region. According to Russian channels, several settlements were attacked. Specifically, in the village of Krym, it seems that a drone struck the "PlastFaktor" factory. Relevant footage was published online.

The Ministry of Defense reported by morning that air defense forces allegedly shot down 40 drones, 16 of them directly in the Rostov region.

Another location where footage of fires appeared was the city of Gatchina in the Leningrad region. The SHOT channel writes that locals heard dull explosions, followed by a huge plume of smoke visible a few kilometers from the scene. A fire broke out at an industrial zone around 6 a.m. on Industrialnaya Street. The exact cause of the incident is unknown.

Soon after, the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed that a building in the industrial zone in the Leningrad region was burning over an area of 1,600 square meters. There was no information about casualties.

The last location of the attack, with footage shared online, was the Krasnodar Krai. According to the video’s author, an unidentified drone hit an artillery brigade of the Russian army.

On the night of January 8, explosions were heard in Engels, Saratov region, followed by a fire at an oil depot. The regional governor, Roman Busargin, confirmed that the fire at the industrial facility was caused by the fall of drone debris. As of the evening of January 8, the fire had still not been extinguished.
