5 products for weight loss - they should always be in your home
According to a dietitian, eating healthily and beneficially for your figure is not that difficult. You should add to your diet nutritious foods that will provide satiety without leading to extra weight gain.
To lose weight, start eating:
- non-starchy vegetables - broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, cucumbers, and eggplants. They contain numerous vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, while influencing cholesterol levels and diabetes risk, aiding digestion, and preventing weight gain
- olive oil - you can add it to sauces and salads. It reduces the impact of depression, improves gut health, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and lowers blood pressure
- fatty dairy products - the dietitian advises against low-fat kefir, milk, and cheese. Instead, opt for "whole" products that contain many beneficial substances and aid digestion
- nuts and seeds - almonds, cashews, walnuts, and pistachios. Add them to your diet as they are rich in beneficial fats and vitamins
- lean proteins - fish, turkey, chicken breast, and tofu.
"A diet which is high in lean proteins has many health benefits: it reduces hunger, lowers blood pressure, assists with weight management, improves muscle mass and strength, and lowers the risk of osteoporosis as lean protein is great for bone health," explained the expert.
