Defense Ministry adviser Serhii Beskrestnov, known as Flash, showed what remains of his home after a drone strike, according to Flash’s Facebook post.

Aftermath of the strike

On Tuesday, April 21, Beskrestnov published photos of the attack’s последствия. The images show a burned-out building, a destroyed car, and signs of a massive fire.

“Here’s how, in a single moment, I lost everything I had built over 20 years. No home, no cars, no belongings. I’m in a cast and will likely be for a long time. Right now I should be spending time with my family, but physically I can’t,” Serhii wrote.

He also thanked everyone for their support and help.

Five Shaheds for one house

According to Flash, Russian forces directed five jet-powered drones at his home. The attack took place on the night of April 20.

“I could believe in an attempt on my life, in sabotage, but I could never have imagined the enemy would send five jet-powered Shaheds at my family’s civilian home to kill everyone,” he said earlier.

Flash considers the incident a targeted assassination attempt. According to him, the drone was controlled in real time from Russian territory.

Ukrainian defenders intercepted two drones, while two more reached the outskirts of Kyiv.

As previously reported by RBC-Ukraine, the Shahed was guided online by an operator from Russia via a so-called mesh network, where drones interact with each other and act as relays.

Yurii Ihnat, head of communications for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed that such technologies already allow the enemy to target moving objects and specific individuals precisely.

As a reminder, Serhii Beskrestnov (Flash) is an adviser to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and a specialist in electronic warfare.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, he has been advising Ukrainian forces on countering enemy drones and runs active Telegram and Facebook channels.
