Pasta casserole has become a classic dish from the movies, coveted by both kids and adults. It vanishes from the table in no time and is incredibly easy to whip up, being a hit for anyone looking to spend minimal time in the kitchen, according to Faini Retsepty (Fine Recipes - ed.).

To make this delicious dish, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of pasta
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 200 grams of chicken fillet
  • 200 grams of mushrooms
  • 150 grams of tomatoes
  • 70 grams of processed cheese
  • 150 grams of sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • Herbs, salt, and pepper to taste


Start by boiling the chicken fillet in salted water, then let it cool before cutting it into small pieces. Boil the pasta, drain it in a colander.

Slice the onion and mushrooms, then sauté them in a pan with oil, salt, and pepper. Add some sour cream, but not all, and stir until the sauce thickens.

Wash and chop the tomatoes. Line a baking dish with foil and grease it with oil. Mix the pasra with the fillet, ensuring they're drained well.

Spread most of the pasta onto the dish, layering with tomatoes and the sautéed mushrooms and onions in sour cream. Then add the remaining pasta with fillet, and top it off with diced processed cheese. Pour over the mixture of beaten eggs and the rest of the sour cream.

Place the dish with the future casserole in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Let it bake for 20-25 minutes, serve the dish hot at the table.
