Dove Cameron and Damiano David's wedding became one of the most talked-about events of early autumn. Now, new photos and details from the celebration have appeared online, according to Vogue.
What Dove Cameron and Damiano David's wedding was like
The celebrations began on September 24 with a civil ceremony at the historic town hall in Montalcino. Only close family members and friends were invited. Dove and Damiano arrived at Palazzo dei Priori in a vintage white Lancia convertible.
After officially getting married, the newlyweds returned to Castiglion del Bosco, a nearby estate that became the main venue for the celebrations. There, they had dinner and danced to live music.
The following day, September 25, a welcome dinner was held for all the guests. A long table was set up right in the middle of the vineyards. It was decorated with wine-red satin textiles, angel statues, silver candelabras, and bunches of grapes. Guests were served fresh mozzarella and generous portions of paccheri al pomodoro.
The main part of the celebrations took place on September 26 at Castiglion del Bosco, among the ruins of the original 12th-century castle. The space was decorated with white sheer fabric, greenery, white hydrangeas, and calla lilies.
Dove walked down the aisle with her mother, Bonnie. The ceremony was officiated by Kenny Ortega, the director of the Descendants trilogy, in which the bride once starred.
Afterward, the guests gathered for dinner. The bride's mother and sister gave speeches, and the dinner concluded with the serving of a large cake decorated with fresh fruit and flowers.
What the couple wore
For the wedding weekend, the singer prepared several looks from Italian fashion brands. For the civil ceremony, she wore a custom ivory Giorgio Armani suit with a long cape. She later changed into a Blumarine dress, and for the welcome dinner, she wore an Alberta Ferretti suit.
For the main ceremony, she chose a Valentino dress created under the direction of the brand's creative director, Alessandro Michele. The centerpiece of the look was a four-meter veil embroidered with crystals and microbeads in the shape of constellations.
Later, Dove changed into a Roberto Cavalli minidress decorated with beads and sequins. She completed the look with lace socks and Jimmy Choo shoes.
The musician also prepared several looks. For the civil ceremony, he chose an ivory suit by Giuliva Heritage. For the welcome dinner, he wore a Valentino look consisting of a cream jacket, dark blue trousers, and a burgundy scarf.
At the altar for the main ceremony, the groom appeared in a classic Giorgio Armani suit. The look was completed with a Bvlgari brooch and cufflinks, as well as an Audemars Piguet watch, which was specially loaned for the wedding from the brand's private museum.
