Daily Russian assaults: Ukrainian border guards about situation near Kramatorsk

The Russian army continues its attempts to break through defenses in the direction of Kramatorsk. The enemy attacks the positions of Ukrainian forces daily, but their efforts remain unsuccessful, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Andriy Demchenko, Spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
According to Demchenko, Russian troops do not stop pushing toward Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. The enemy attacks the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces daily, trying to dislodge them from their positions.
"In fact, those positions held by our border guard units are attacked daily by the enemy in an effort to dislodge our defenders. However, the enemy has been unsuccessful thanks to the resilience and courage of the soldiers on the front line," Demchenko said.
Situation in Kramatorsk direction
According to the General Staff, nine combat clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction in the past 24 hours near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, and Stupochky.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also stopped an attempted breakthrough by Russians on motorcycles near Kramatorsk.
In addition, in early April, Ukrainian defenders repelled another attempt by Russian forces to break through on motorcycles near Kramatorsk. Drone operators destroyed 18 enemy motorcyclists who tried to reach frontline positions using the foggy weather as cover.
