CNN accuses Trump of potentially violating US Constitution

The media and a number of American politicians have criticized US President Donald Trump’s ban on journalists from CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from visiting the White House, according to CNN.
Trump's ban on the aforementioned media outlets from visiting the White House is viewed as unconstitutional.
"CNN stands fully behind our White House team and their fair and accurate reporting. We have a right under the U.S. Constitution to do that reporting without hindrance or interference from the government," the network says in a statement.
Journalists believe that if the ban threatened by Trump is implemented, it will constitute an illegal encroachment on a fundamental and constitutionally protected right.
"POLITICO will continue to fairly report on this White House and future ones. We will vigorously defend our First Amendment rights against any attempt to restrict them," the agency's representatives wrote.
About an hour later, during a press conference in the Oval Office, a group of White House reporters asked Trump how he justified banning the three news organizations.
"A result of their constant ‘reporting’ FAKE NEWS!," he said.
Trump announced that he would ban the news networks CNN and MS NOW, as well as the online publication Politico, from visiting the White House. He called the news reports from these media outlets false.
