Bitcoin has broken the price record for the second time in a week. Today it costs about $80,000, according to Binance.

Notably, Bitcoin broke through the $80,000 mark today but then fell to $79,800.

Bitcoin started to rise in price after Donald Trump's victory in the US election, as he supports cryptocurrencies.

The last time the record was broken was on November 8. Back then, Bitcoin reached $77,000 for the first time in history.

Experts immediately assumed that the price of cryptocurrency could rise thanks to the victory of the newly elected US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, Bitcoin updated its record after Elon Musk announced investments in cryptocurrencies back in 2021.
