Belarus has once again extended joint military exercises with the Russian Armed Forces, which will continue at least until November 12, reports the monitoring group Belaruski Hayun.

"Training is continuing at the Domanove and Obuz-Lesnovsky ranges without interruption, while other ranges will have days off on November 4 and 5. Additionally, the Gojski and Brestski ranges will have days off on November 6 and 7, and on November 7, the Lepelsky, Borisovsky, and Neman ranges will also have a day off," the press service reported.

Training at the ranges will resume on November 6 and continue until:

  • 227 General Military Range "Borisovsky (Borisov District) until November 11;
  • Gojski"Range, 6th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Grodno District) until November 10;
  • 38th Separate Guards Airborne Brigade Range, Brestsky (Brest District) until November 11;
  • 51st Separate Airborne Brigade" Range, Osipovichi (Osipovichi District) until November 10;
  • 212th Aviation Range Neman (Novogrudok District) until November 10;
  • 230 General Military Range Obuz-Lesnovsky (Baranovichi District) until November 12;
  • 174 Training Range of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces Domanove (Ivacevichi District) until November 12;
  • 19th Separate Mechanized Brigade Range, Lepelsky (Lepel District) until November 11.

"The exercises have been continuous since April 29, 2022. The total number of extensions is 80 weeks," the press service added.

The Role of Belarus in Russia's War against Ukraine

Indeed, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian-backed terrorists attacked Ukraine, including from Belarusian territory. During that time, the enemy seized parts of the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Later on, our troops were able to reclaim those territories.

Specifically, during the war, Russians used Belarus as a launching point for attacks on Ukraine.
