Armenia and Azerbaijan accuse each other of shelling
Armenia and Azerbaijan have accused each other of launching attacks, with Armenia reporting casualties, according to the Ministries of Defense of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the Armenian Armed Forces, Azerbaijani military units launched an attack. The Armenian side has reported casualties.
"On February 13, starting from 05:30, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire with small arms at Armenian positions located in the area of Nerkin Khand, as a result of which, according to preliminary data, the Armenian side has casualties," the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
The Azerbaijani side said that the Armenian Armed Forces struck Azerbaijani military positions.
"On February 12 at 20:50 and at 23:40, Armenian Armed Forces units from positions towards the settlement of Chinarly in the Tovuz district shelled Azerbaijani Army positions towards the settlement of Kokhanabi in the Tovuz district," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict
