The Spring Equinox is just days away, bringing the Sun’s entry into Aries. This will mark the beginning of a fortunate period for representatives of certain zodiac signs.

Astrologer Kateryna Soloviova explained who can expect positive changes and how to properly meet the Equinox.

Which zodiac signs the Sun will favor

The Sun will enter Aries on March 20 and remain there until April 20. According to the astrologer, this is one of the most favorable positions for the Sun.

Its positive influence will be felt by the following zodiac signs:

  • Aries
  • Leo
  • Sagittarius
  • Gemini
  • Aquarius

They will be especially lucky, Solovyiva added, if they hold leadership positions.

Extra caution during this period is advised for:

  • Libra
  • Capricorn
  • Cancer

"In this period, activities related to self-awareness, appearance, image, behavior, physical condition, initiative, and personal matters may shift to a new level," the expert said.

What the Equinox will bring

On March 20 at 4:46 p.m., when the Sun reaches the degree of Aries, astronomical spring and a new astronomical year will begin in the Northern Hemisphere.

"This is the Day of the Spring Equinox, one of the festivals of the Wheel of the Year, historically attributed with magical qualities. At this moment, the Sun is positioned directly above the equator, making day and night nearly equal in length," Solovyova explained.

"This is the beginning of all beginnings, when the foundation for the next cycle is laid, and the mystery of creation and the end of the world is symbolically replayed. Everything in the world follows a cyclical pattern that moves in a spiral, repeating at a new level: what once died is reborn in a new form," she added.

In ancient times, many cultures celebrated the New Year during this period. This tradition still exists in some countries. The astrologer noted that in Zoroastrianism, Nowruz was celebrated as a holiday of liberation from death and suffering, associated with the restoration of lost harmony.

One of the symbols of this event was fire — an element that once pulled humanity out of primitive darkness, provided warmth, food, and protection from predators.

"Astrologically, the New Year — Nowruz — begins under the sign of Aries, the primal fire. One of its rulers is Mars, the planet of warriors, willpower, struggle, and competition, while the Sun is exalted in the first zodiac sign and is responsible for personal integrity, physical condition, individuality, and consciousness," Solovyova explained.

"People prepared for this day in advance: they put their affairs and relationships in order, did a general home cleaning, got rid of unnecessary things, and prepared gifts for relatives and friends. On the Equinox, it is important to stay in a positive emotional state and avoid physical and psychological overload," she emphasized.

It is believed that during this period, a powerful charge of positive energy is active, and the strength of thoughts increases, helping to manifest desires. Therefore, it is an effective time to plan activities for at least a quarter, as a program for the next three months — until the Summer Solstice — is set.

"Since Mercury will still be retrograde and the Moon will be void of course at that moment, it is better to formulate plans related to situations that have already occurred in your life, rather than initiating something entirely new," the expert advised.
