Sometimes, relationships can become so dull that one starts to wonder if the love has faded. As it turns out, feelings can indeed dwindle at times.

YourTango reveals 6 signs that indicate your relationship might be falling apart.

Signs that your relationship might be falling apart

Arguments and complaints are increasing. If you and your partner are constantly dissatisfied and communicate about it, yet nothing changes, you may simply be exhausted from each other. Avoiding pauses or pretending nothing is happening will only escalate the tension.

Starting a conversation becomes difficult. When partners stop communicating, and cease sharing their thoughts and feelings, it's a worrying sign. Perhaps you're tired of it all, and the relationship only suppresses this feeling. Or you've simply closed off from the person you once loved.

You're drifting apart. Sometimes, in relationships, people start living different lives. They no longer share common interests and prefer to spend time apart. This might indicate that love is fading.

Ignoring each other. When you no longer feel like discussing your relationship and having constructive dialogues, or your partner avoids conversations, it's worth pondering. Ignoring could be the first sign of disrespect and devaluation.

Dreaming of an affair. If you're excited about the idea of a secret romance and betrayal, you're probably not in love with your partner 100%. When you start mentally considering a relationship with someone else, you're distancing yourself from your partner.

You don't know how to talk about your problems. When you feel like you won't be heard or simply don't want to trust, it's no longer a relationship. Perhaps your partner has hurt or repelled you in some way. Rebuilding trust can be extremely difficult.
