4 Russian Shahed drones destroyed by Ukraine's Air Force overnight
Russia launched 4 combat UAVs Shahed-136/131 over Ukraine on the night of April 3. Air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed all 4 enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of April 3, 2024, Russian troops targeted the territory of Donetsk region with three surface-to-air missiles S-300, and also deployed 4 UAVs Shahed-136/131 from the area of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia.
The air defense forces managed to shoot down all 4 hostile drones. The Shaheds were neutralized by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, and Cherkasy regions.
Russian night attack
On the night of April 3, an air raid alert was sounded in the Kyiv region, followed by reports that Russians launched combat UAVs. The alert began at 3:11 AM and lasted until 3:52 AM.
Russians launched more drone attacks on Ukraine during the night, with alerts issued in several regions.The drones entered from the southern regions, flew through central areas towards southern Kyiv region, and then went west. The last ones were shot down in Ternopil region and near Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region.
