2 Russian MiG-31, S-400, fuel depot destroyed in last night attack on Crimea
As a result of the last night attack on Crimea, 2 Russian MiG-31 aircraft, a S-400 anti-aircraft system, and a fuel depot were destroyed. There are also losses among the Russian military, reports ASTRA.
According to the media, the Belbek military airfield near Sevastopol was attacked on the night of May 15.
The missile strike destroyed 2 Russian MiG-31 fighter interceptors. A fuel and oil depot also burned down. 11 Russian soldiers were injured.
Also that night, a Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system was attacked near the village of Vyshneve (about 70 km out of Belbek). After the attack, it caught fire, two troopers were killed and two others were injured.
What else is known about the attack
On the night of May 14-15, explosions were heard in Sevastopol, near the Belbek military airfield. Satellite images confirmed that a fire broke out at the airfield at night.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 10 ATACMS missiles had attacked Crimea, and they all were allegedly shot down.
The media suggested that MiG-31Ks could have been hit at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.
