100 Russian soldiers attempted to flee from unit in Krasnodar: They broke fence and escaped

In Krasnodar (Russia), a mass escape of soldiers took place from a military commandant's office, where they had been held for desertion (AWOL), according to Astra.
It is reported that about a hundred Russian soldiers were involved in the attempted escape from the unit.
According to Russian mediaб law enforcement officers have blocked 2nd Trudovaнф Street near the Krasnodar military unit, with many police officers on-site and vehicle inspections continuing.
According to the propagandist Telegram channel Baza, around 100 escaped soldiers had previously been held at one of the military commandant's offices in a specially fenced-off area. It is also noted that the soldiers broke through the fence and have already exited the commandant's territory.
Preliminary reports indicate that the military escapees in Krasnodar were unarmed. No information has been received regarding any casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.
Additionally, Russian media reports that the area of the local military commandant's office was surrounded by Russian National Guard troops and police vehicles.
It is still unknown whether any of the soldiers managed to escape from the Krasnodar military unit.
Desertion in the Russian army
Earlier, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported an increase in cases of desertion in the Russian army and disobedience to leadership.
By the way, a similar escape incident recently occurred in one of the military units on Russian territory, though it wasn't as large-scale. This refers to the incident near Novosibirsk that took place in November of last year. At that time, 10 to 15 Russian soldiers escaped from their unit. Several of them had previously fought against Ukraine.
In June 2023, in the Bryansk region (Russia), an armed conscript fled from a military unit. And on May 25, 2023, about 20 soldiers escaped from a military unit near Svatove in the Luhansk region. The Russian servicemen also hijacked a vehicle and then headed in an unknown direction.
