Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, commented on the strike against the Russian vessel Port Olya 4 in the Caspian Sea. Yermak also shared a photo of the partially sunken ship on his Telegram channel.
“If there’s a desire to transport components for weapons and drones that kill Ukrainians, then one shouldn’t be surprised when the transport starts sinking,” Yermak wrote, attaching the photo.

According to the General Staff, on August 14, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Olya seaport in Russia’s Astrakhan region and struck a ship carrying drone components and Iranian munitions. The vessel grounded and partially sank due to the strike.
The Russians claimed that at least 14 drones allegedly targeted the port. Russian air defenses reportedly shot down 10, while four drones hit the Port Olya 4 vessel.
This was not the only attack on Russia. On the night of August 15, unknown drones struck an oil refinery in the city of Syzran, causing several fires in the area. In addition, on the evening of August 14, drones hit the temporarily occupied city of Yenakiieve in the Donetsk region, causing explosions and a fire within the settlement.
